Stationary (LEL/Toxic/O2)

  • Our gas detectors can be used to sense hundreds of different gases. From common gas types such as natural gas to exotic toxic gases like Titanium Tetrachloride. Contact us if your target gas is not listed, chances are we can provide a solution for your specific application.

    Our universal detectors feature non-volatile memory to store historical monitoring and calibration data. The real-time clock and calendar also flag all your alarm and calibration events. We offer an option of two fully configurable gas alarm models to meet your exact gas detection needs.

Wireless

  • Wireless gas detectors and wireless gas monitors are designed for continuous monitoring of toxic and combustible gases in the air. Due to their wireless nature, there is no complex system configuration that is needed. Once you assign a unique address to the wireless gas monitor or wireless gas detector your job is complete.

    The wireless gas detection system will collect all the necessary data information from the sensor including the target gas type. There is onboard historical data logging available as well as RTU communication for PLC and DCS systems.

    Additionally, our wireless gas monitors can easily connect to remote relay modules for audio and visual alarms or Emergency Shut Downs (ESD).

Personal Monitors

Standalone

  • The SensePoint gas detector is R.C. Systems’ newest solution for single-point monitoring with local alarm indication. It is ideal for laboratory and commercial environments and steel plant CO monitoring. With a bright, vivid backlit colour display, Modbus and programmable relays, it will satisfy the most demanding application’s requirements.

    The SensePoint gas detector supports all temperature compensated smart sensor types, including Electrochemical, Catalytic Bead, Infrared and Photoionization sensors. It even has Arctic options available for extreme low-temperature installations.

  • The ViewSmart is a 16-32-48-64 channel controller with simultaneous display and alarm functions for up to 64 input variables. 16-32-48-64 channel display modes and I/O modules arranged in groups of 16 channels allow economical configuration of systems.

    This easy-to-configure, user-friendly controller is ideal for centralizing display and alarm functions in critical multipoint monitoring applications.

Touchscreen Controller

  • CGD500 Touch is a gas detection control system that differentiates itself with an intuitive Touch screen HMI. With this touch screen, it is possible to quickly get an overview of the system’s status and make changes to it.

    The CGD500 Touch is designed for stationary gas detection installations for the monitoring of explosive and/or toxic gases and oxygen with 8, 16 or 24 gas detectors.

    If you have a more demanding requirement, please ask for our CGD 500 Touch Custom (up to 254 gas detectors, additional outputs, custom interfaces, special cabinets, etc.).

Open Path Gas Detector

  • RC Systems’ Quasar 900 open-path gas detector utilizes the latest open-path IR technology to detect a wide range of hydrocarbon gases, including alkanes (methane to hexane) and ethylene. These units can be custom-tailored to your high-risk installation.

    The Quasar 900 employs a “spectral fingerprint” analysis of the atmosphere using the DOAS (differential optical absorption spectroscopy) technique to deliver reliable results in extremely harsh environments where dust, fog, rain, snow, or vibration can cause a high signal reduction.
